The American Cheesemaker Awards is a celebration of the most talented Cheesemakers in the country. This three-day event provides a venue for artisan cheesemakers, the culinary elite, restauratuers, industry professionals, and the public to gather to celebrate America's entrance onto the world cheese stage. Opportunities to participate include the Cheese Tastings, the Awards Dinner, and Cheese Academy.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 15

American Cheesemaker Awards Judging

Cheese experts from across the country will use a blind tasting process to select the best among America’s top cheeses The results will be announced Friday evening at the American Cheesemaker Awards Dinner.

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 16

10:00AM–12:00 PM

Cheese Tasting - For the Trade

The Trade Tasting provides cheesemakers an opportunity to connect with and sample their products to Southern California restaurants, retailers, and distributors in a professional setting geared toward fostering business relationships.

12:00AM–2:00 PM

Cheese Academy - For the Trade

Open to cheesemakers and industry professionals, Cheese Academy will feature sessions taught by top Orange County chefs and cheese experts from across the country. The courses will provide cheesemakers with insight for gaining access to the Southern California market along with specialized cheese education in a variety of topics. You'll leave ready to serve your customers and your business.

Open to the public. Please join us for an evening of exceptional cuisine and entertainment as we celebrate the judge’s top picks for the 1st American Cheesemaker Awards.

SATURDAY & SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 17-18

Cheese Tasting - For the Public
Regularly Priced at $75 per person

The public is welcome to this unique two day event to determine the People's Choice Awards. Join Southern California gourmet food enthusiasts and culinary elites as they sip and savor wines and cheeses and other fine foods from across the country. The Cheese Store will be available to take holiday orders for products from cheesemakers you love the most.

Cheese Academy - For the Public

To complement the Tasting, enjoy classes in cutting edge culinary education. Meet and learn the secrets of cheese experts & celebrity chefs who will provide exclusive cheese-based culinary demonstrations. Choose among 5 sessions per day taught by cheesemakers and industry professionals featuring wine pairings, cooking classes, and cheese tasting.

Class 3: 2 American Chefs. 2 souffles

Class 4: Artisanal Cheese & Wine Pairing Adventure class

Class 6: Creating a Cheese Plate

Class 7: Mac & Cheese: A Gourmet Perspective
